I recently have been toled that to make money off of a website you are required to have a licence, is that true? If so, how much would it cost?

And it would be me alone who would own the site. There may be some unpaid admin but thats about it.

It depends on where you live. You've posted in several places that you're only 12, which would mean it's ILLEGAL for people to do business with you in the US (you can't make a legal contract!).

You don't need a license if you create your own website in PHP / HTML / CSS etc.. You may need a contract if your using web software or scripts.

What type of site do you want to create ?

I'm not sure what type of website yet. I did alittle research and found out that if I were to make more than $400 a year I would have to pay taxes. How old would I have to be to make a legal contract? I use html, css, javascript (my main language), php, and sql. My guess is that I'm screwed till im 18.

Would it be illegal to even have admin that have more powers over the site than normal guests, but still don't own any part of the site?

Lol, atleast I don't have to moderator the website by my self. I finally found a webhost! So im starting with making the layout of my site.
I would own the site myself, but admin could do things like edit/delete posts, ban members, just things normal members can't. I would be the only one the powers over pages, like editing,deleting,adding,etc... And the site itself.

Just to tell what type of site I'm making, I am currently working on a website where you play games and then earn coins, what you do with coins, I don't know yet. I'm still modifying the user system (one of the few good things about the php&mysql book I bought, it has user system tutorial!)
