compile error

c:\rf online sourcecode\rf client side\rf_client\userinterface\guicontroller\d3dx8.h(13): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'd3d8.h': No such file or directory

yet the file <d3d8.h> is in the same dir as d3dx8.h any one care to help me here?

ok i looked at the link and i didnt find any of those wrong.

the include looks like this

#include <d3d8.h>

any ideas from that?

Try quotes instead of angle brackets if d3d8.h exists in same directory as the source file it is included from.

#include "d3d8.h"

thanks that worked just to open up another file cant be found error -sighs- does it ever end

Trollish comments? I'm the one that should feel surrounded by trolls, he dreams in make an MMORPG, and doesn't even know how to include a header!!! And you all just keep saying "well, you can make it"... what kind of hypocrisy is this? i will not start fights neither post more about this.

for one outsid3r i didnt write the dam code the d3dx8.h file was pre written seems it was incorrect so thats y i asked for one learn b4 u flame and for 2 get ur head our ur ******* ass. i havent done C++ for over a year so chill it b4 i request someone to ban u from my threads if thats even possible
