Tutorials on how to create a simple blogging system?

or a simple forum system?

there might be, but the simpliest blog is a password protected guestbook, so check for that at first :-)

Yes there are quite a few, are any of them really good? for the most part no but there are a few that are better then others.

The thing with online tutorials is that anyone can put one up and you have no idea if they actually know what they are doing or not.

As with most of online applications the hardest part is creating a user and admin login system. I would start by finding some tutorials on this. One of the most robust and informative ones that I have seen around is here on evolt.org

I've got about 5 tutorials that start what could be a forum/blog posted here.

Well I might create a tutorial on that any soon and put it on my website (blog). But probbably not allowed to post link to my website here :)

Well I'm quite new to these forums but yeah why not, I think I'll do this when it's done however it can take some time untill the tutorial is done, but will post it here as well then, probbably :)
