Yes James I did say that. But nah I totally get where you're coming from, I'm the only girl in the whole of IT in my whole institute.. and I'm the youngest. Being the only girl does work to your advantage sometimes though, like the job I'm applying for this trimester would want a girl so I'd probably have a higher chance with getting in.. except I wouldn't want the job just based on the fact that I'm a girl, that's really unfair to both genders. BUT YA um also I make friends super easy, I think I get along with guys soo much better haha, a lot of them like to take on a kind of big brother relationship too, they like to look after me I guess haha:).
A bad side to being a girl is that a ton of the guys I don't talk to in my classes under estimate me because I'm a girl and think like "oh she's a chick, what's she doing in here, she probably thinks IT is about Bebo and Myspace".

TLDR: I agree, I think more girls should get into IT:(.
