Hi.

I was wondering what language would be a good choice for someone wanting to do 3D games?

I'm really unsure between like C++ and C#, or anything else anyone can recommend.

I want to beable to do simple 3D game with the use of some kind of engine.

Also how difficult is adding remote multiplayer aspect to the different languages.

I've done a few languages before but mainly web dev ones, like PHP, SQL, ActionScript and a couple of other simlar ones.

My other question is.

How good does my Math need to be in each area for this purpose?

E.G - Do I need to be strong in trig, or just understand the basics?

Thank you!

I think c++ and the direct X SDK is a good basic to create a 3d game.

Most 3D engines are coded in C++.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

I would go with C# and use this engine which allows you to make XBOX360, PC, and ZUNE games it looks very easy to use and it's free BTW there are some tutorials on the site.
