I am new to php and I am have redirected email to a pipe for one account so that a php script can check for certain subjects and emails automatic replies.

My thought is that it just check the subject, if I have a text file that matches it send it, if not ... forget it it got forwarded 2 (outside the script)

I.E. the subject is:
"free prize" sends free_prize.txt
"free prize" sends offer.txt

but I am in way over my head. I am well versed in VB, batch and a bit of C but this is all greek to me :D

I cant even figure out how to test this on my server in linux or windows.

php -q script <email1.txt 

might work to send a sample though ... maybe
