OK so once you have it downloaded run it and it should look like this.

OK the top left window is a top down view, the top right is the side view, the bottom right is the front view window, and the bottom left is the 3D window.
To navigate in the 3D window hold down the right mouse button in the window and use W,A,S,D or the arrow keys to move.
OK hopefully your getting a feel for this now were going to add a piece of ground and a light.
OK here's what to hit.

The first the you need to do is right click the cube button from the menu on the left and a box should pop up like you see to the right of the 3D window change the setting like seen click build and then click close.
OK now you have some ground now click the last button on the bottom left side menu and you should have some ground that looks like this.

Now for a light, right click any were in the 3D window and add a light like shown.(you'll have to click and enlarge the image to see what to click.)

OK now move the light around so it looks somewhat like this.

OK now to add a player right click in the 3D window and do exactly what you did for the light but instead of clicking add light point click add player start just below it.
Now your probably wanting to try out the level so click the build button from the top menu scroll down half way and click lighting, another little box will pop up, at the bottom uncheck Use Lightmass and press OK(note you'll have to do this every time you run it.) another box will pop up click the close button on it, now to run the game right click the 3D window and go to the very bottom and click play from here and test it out.
OK there you go I hope I haven't bored you to death with this tutorial.:)
