Well, what can I say... ok ok.... I'm from Puerto Rico(the Caribbean[no, there aren't pirates but it be fun has hell to have them]). I got interested in programming with C++ back in 2005 in my short 2 weeks experience but never found a decent book to get learning so i left it behind, but on last year's December I got the chills again to program, my fingers just went crazy typing old codes from the basic days in notepad hahaha. So a good friend bought me the Visual Studios 2008. I am currently reading a book called "Learning C++ programming" by John Smiley, the main goal of this book is to teach use the basics and at the end of the book to make a Grade Calculation Program(but after i learned about the input i did a Tax program all by myself, but it took me about 12 minutes to fix all the errors in the compile, thought it doesn't run perfect since it doesn't accept fraction prices, for example; 5.98, it will just take the 5, i tried the float but nothing... oh well i will wait for further learning to fix it) and its a long code, oh my, but im having fun learning the basics... thats all for now... hope this site is very active an friendly..(its my 3rd forum of programming but either they are to dull or not very helpful)...

thanks for the warm welcome^^ an nice pic, but that computer looks ancient O.o oh my, i remember when i was 7 with a computer with a black screen an i had to type to execute a game from a floppy... wow.. old!... hahahah.


oh btw, i havent seen ever sub-forum area, there is one for gamedevelopment right?
