I have just finished a couple courses in C++ and before that I read Python and I have two new courses in Ruby starting in January.
So I was thinking since I really don't have anything to do during the holidays id might as well get ahead a bit and start learning Ruby
Since I don't really know anything about Ruby I figured id get some input from you guys.
For the Python course I used Emacs as a editor and in C++ I used Eclipse, I don't really like Emacs to much so I was planning on using Eclipse for Ruby but I don't know if that's a good idea?
Is there anything speciall to think about when it comes to Ruby?
Any input helps, thanks! :D
PS.If anyone knows of a good tutorial or book regarding Ruby id love to know about it.

well you could go to scribd.com and type in ruby... ainly most of the books on that site are good... and you could read the files fro the site or download them into 1 or 2 different formats.\ruby-forum.com is a forum only about ruby so you could browse around that.... :D
