Hi everybody!how are you all?well i could really use your help now well heres the thing im fairly new to visual basic and i just know the basics of this language,well here comes my question i was assigned to do a program that creates a student registration using visual basic 6 and microsoft access.Well i did the registration,was able to let it save in the database but the problem i have been having is that i need to create a command button that will search for a specific data or a range of datas and exporting it into an excel sheet.Could you please help me,i would really appreciate it as it has really been bothering me for over a week now.Thank you very much for your time!thank you also in advance!

you can try crystal reports for exporting a excel file... its present in vb.net 2008, but you can download it for vb6, i think..

Sorry for the late reply,crystal reports?i haven't heard of it yet is it easy to use?so if ever i will use crystal reports do i need to move my database to it?Thank you very much

Crystal reports is a program designed for creating reports. It can connect to most database types, and supports a variety of different output formats.
