Well I am an avid Joomla user and have a few bugs I need to fix on a few Delphi applications I had someone write for me, however why there are so few Delphi programmers I don't know.
So I guess I am going to take a shot at Delphi myself:)

Hi MrBloop, welcome to Codecall! I don't know why Delhpi isn't as big as the other programming languages because it's a good one to learn.

Welcome aboard! Microsoft competed against Delphi with VB, and spent a lot more energy in promoting it to managers. For years, Delphi was the superior language, but it didn't have the name recognition.
