Is there any good code for optimizing the system (changing the theme etc) to get the best possible performance in my app?

I want it to run in the Program.cs before I call the first form and then I want to be able to reset it when the app exits...

I don´t really know what I should look for so I didn´t find anything while I googled! Hope someone can help me!:)
