What? Eclipse and Netbeans are far better. DrJava is for students mostly.

I agree with the suggestion that Dr. Java is a good environment to start programming in. It is the first tool I used and still find myself drawn to its simplicity.
I'm now it my 3rd semester of programming classes and feel that it has been an important part of my learning Java. I have played around with Netbeans and Eclipse but stick with Dr. Java.
At some point I will move on for something a bit more powerful but for someone learning the language it seems to me a great way to go.

Sorry I didn't get back been busy I downloaded netbeans and it works good and I like it Thanks every body.
