php myadmin error: #2003 - The server is not responding ?

when i try to access the phpmyasmin i got an error:#2003 - The server is not responding and when i open xampp control the mysql that i have run suddenly stop. when i run the mysql again and try to access phpmyadmin the error still show. and the mysql stop anymore. can you help me to solve this problem?

It sounds as you have a configuration or other problem with your MySQL server, have you done something with it?
