It seems to be some kind of educational programming language thingie, which we will be starting to use in our first programming course here at my University. It's only to be used for one assignment during a week or so, but I' still curious about if others has heard of it, and what they think of it if they have tested it?
I can read out from the review of last years version of the course, that many was mispleased with it, but some had alot of good sayings of it. (might depend on their knowledge level etc).

I just heard about it through the Clipboard Game thread :P Looks pretty good but it's impossible to say without trying anything.
Edit: I'm downloading it now to try it out :)

That's pretty interesting, never heard of it before. Seems like quite a cool idea though.

I used it last year, a load of rubbish. It it good to play with, but it crashes on complicated graphics. It is like the Java's Adobe Flash in 3D.

Never heard of it. I'd be interested in knowing how well it does. I took a Java class using some new teaching method/software that was absolutely horrible.

I've heard of Alice! It's pretty crap on Linux though. XD
I've only had the chance to try it for a short time since it barely functioned properly on Linux. I know of it because Carnegie Mellon maintains it, and they also maintain Panda3D, something that is quite better and does 3D programming with python scripts. ^_^
Sorry I couldn't tell you more about it.

After trying it I think it's awesome, for new programmers. It's too simple for you Orjan.

It was fun to use though. I created a flying "dinosaur" which you could control: turn, move up/down, change speed. I also made the wings falpping :P
