Greetings!
I am about to start a new thread on programming in UNIX. I’m a graduate student with mathematical/physics background but prefer to communicate with professional programmers since I’m a newbie in some programming languages and like to experience them parallel to my timely activities. :thumbup1:
Greetings

Thanks for your welcoming notes: Regarding WingedPanther's question,
I'm currently doing research on data compression models using quantum cryptography which I'm about to publish my new model for DBs, quantum computers and servers (node communications). More details will be posted to you if really interested in my reports. I'm really strong at Discrete Mathematics, pure mathematics and in general, mathematical physics. However, not too focused on programming elite codes and mainly deal with what's beyond the surface. I suffer at some basics when it comes to programming in some languages since I use them as tools and never memorize them in detail, but when I get a hold of it, I'll become very creative; what can I say, theories leading to implementation is very time consuming. Maybe by the help of experts like you, we could take the projects to a higher level benefiting ourselves and the world of technology.:thumbup1:

It may be of interest. I focused on Logic/Set Theory for my masters, but enjoy discrete and statistics a lot.
