Hello all,

Time and time again I am reading more CF Developers converting over to .net . Does anyone know what's going on exactly? Does adobe plan on continuing the CF product line? Is there still any marketshare on it as far as companies utilizing CF to power their servers?

There are companies that still use CF, but the big problem is servers. I code in CF, but it means our customers have to purchase a license of CF server, in addition to the code my company sells. That means people have to pay twice for a product, rather than pay once for an ASP.NET program.

CF has a lot of nice features, however, if you use adobe's other products, but I think it's slowly dying.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.

I have not used it much honestly, I saw some of it in Dreamweaver a few versions back. I know that MySpace is (or used to be) in ColdFusion but that could easily be changed with that update they had a while back.
