There are few things I own that I would have to replace if they broke, were stolen etc. The reasons are either practical or out of the enjoyment I get out the item.
1. Car - both for practicality and enjoyment
2. Guitar - has brought me so much joy over the years
3. iPod - since buying one I can't imagine not having my entire music collection on me at all times
4. Desktop - as much as I love my laptop, my desktop is the real workhorse. If I'm at home it's on and it's very rarely sat idle. I'm either sat in front of it or it's working as a media server.
So, what's on your list?
I can't live without...

If there's a new way, I'll be the first in line.
But, it better work this time.

I can't live without..
1. Wife - Love (although I probably wouldn't replace her)
2. A computer - As long as I had one it would be alright but none would kill me
3. Car - necessity, mostly.

Would your wife be impressed that you'd want to replace her as soon she went missing? :D

lol, I'm not sure that I could find a replacement for her nor would I want to. I just hope she never dies (or at least, selfishly, I die first).
Edit: There I made an edit to my original post. :)

If my wife disappeared, I'd be useless for about a month.

If my wife disappeared,
there would be much less arguing going on,
but I wouldn't be able to find anything.
