I have a quick question for you guys. After high school, I am either going to get a CS degree from Georgia Tech, or join the Air Force and get education there. I would like to hear your opinions on which you think I should do, I think that the Air Force would not only teach me, but make more...mature. Anyways, please voice your opinions.

Both sound like great options, IMO. I had a teacher in college that was a former programmer for the U.S. Army, he really knew his stuff. He also said that everything he wrote had to have psuedocode and be very well documented. He made us follow the same procedures in class.

Of the divisions of the Army, the Air Force seems like a great choice.

Have you taken any ROTC in high school?
If not you should ask about a program.

My daughter is in the AFJROTC program
at her high school and she loves it.
What she does after high school is
best decided by her.

To be honest, I wish I had joined the military. I think the discipline would have helped me out a lot.
Programming is a branch of mathematics.
