Hi everyone! I am a hobby web developer who primarily uses HTML, CSS, and PHP. I have recently decided to learn JavaScript and... well, it's not going so well. I have tried a few tutorials so far and I understand the concept, just not how to get things done.
I thank you in advance to everyone who will be helping me out in the future!
Hello, and thank you in advance!

One of the biggest keys to JavaScript is realizing that it doesn't exist in a void. Unfortunately, the non-void is browser dependent, so things get interesting quickly.

Bits of JavaScript vary between IE, FireFox, etc. Sometimes even between versions of IE! AJAX is a great example of this, as is key handling.
