What's up folks? I came across this forum in a Google search trying to figure some stuff out. I figured I'd join up!
My name is Sean. I'm in the US Army.... currently sitting about 20 miles East of Baghdad. No action around me though, so it's all good this time around. I'm a web development enthusiast and a car enthusiast.
I own a few websites of my own. One of them is a wordpress blog, another is a vBulletin forum like this one, and the third and most recent one is a WP blog, a vB forum, and some static pages I built myself in HTML, CSS and PHP. I won't post links because like I said, I'm a site owner so I know the deal!
I also attend DeVry University online for a degree in Computer Information Systems w/ an emphasis in Web Development & Administration. I'm just doing it for the paper though. The Army pays for it so I'd be a fool to not take advantage. I just finished learning the basics of Pseudocode, flowcharts, etc.
Anyway I hope to learn a lot from you all. I'm currently trying to get a solid grip on PHP and then I want to move on to more complex languages.
Thanks in advance for all the help. :thumbup1:

Hey Sean, welcome to the forum! Although you can't post a link, it would be interesting to see the sites you own. Can you post the domain names?

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
@ John & WingedPanther... no problem at all.
@ Jordan... sure thing! My first forum is ArmedForcesCarClub.com... the name explains it all. 100% owner and yes that it my Trans Am on the homepage. The next was SuccessOnMyMind.com... it's a good tool to help me keep certain things on my mind and share them with others at the same time. It's just a blog. My latest is NoobJunction.com which is the blog/forum combo. I plan on having this one until the community is too big to handle. I don't really care how long it takes! I do all of the designs myself as well... gotta love PS CS3!
@ Parabola... I'm a 92A... basically a supply guy for maintenance, armor, commo and NBC (CBRN... whatever). I control repair parts for mission essential equipment to sum it up. 6 Years active duty so far... E5 promotable chasing points. :(

Awesome! It's great to have you on board. If you don't mind me asking, what base are you at? I know OPSEC, so if you want, you can PM me. I could take a guess, but let's not broadcast your exact position to the world lol.
Oh, and good luck getting to that E6.. I know being a buck sgt isn't exactly the greatest lol
