Hi,Im required to create an application(.exe in particular) which should interact with many websites to create a table of necessary updates.This way,the user using this application would be free of tortuous task of checking each website !Can any one suggest me how to start with!And necessary softwares to be installed!

It depends entirely on the details. What do you mean by "necessary updates"? What are the criteria for needing updates?
