Hey every one,

I've recently become fascinated by computer science and computer programming.

I want to start off by learning basic html/web design and move onto flash and multimedia and eventually learn advanced coding.

I don't know where to start though! I've heard from a lot of people that textbooks become outdated and aren't user-friendly.

How would you suggest an inexperienced guy start learning basic html and work his way up to more advanced technologies/languages?

I'm looking forward to all the help I can get.

Thanks,
Zain

Yes that is true books do become outdated.

HTML however has not been updated in a very long time.

W3Schools Online Web Tutorials

You can learn html, css, and php there

Photoshop? I would just jump in and play with everything.
