This thread is basically going to be a discussion all about fitness, I don't know why but lately I've been really into it.

I have been setting goals for my fitness too, I follow challenges based on apps for my iPhone. These are my current goals;
100 Pushups
200 Crunches
50 Pullups
25km Run
When swimming comes back, some long distance.
Higher in the beep test (shuttle run)

I completed the 200 crunches in just two workouts... That one was easy but now I challenge other people :D Check out the site;
GymFu.com - Add some Fu to your workout | Fitness minigames for the iPhone

Need iPhone or iPod Touch for it though since they are only apps. They are EXTREMELY good!! You place the phone on part of your body or attach it some where. It then counts them based on the accelerometer.

What about other people's fitness?

I'm struggling to lay back on the soft drink haha. I only have about two glasses a day but I'm trying to cut completely off. It's VERY hard!!

Anyone have a link to a website that shows healthy eating? Like following the pyramid or something?

Sorry if I don't post as often as I did, I'll try to get here as much as possible! I'm working my bum off to get this scholarship and other stuff!

Well I started the 200 squat chalange. Did not do so well. I did 40 and then I was hurting really bad for the next three days. I am going to start with week 1 in collumn 3 so that I don't over exted myself. I also started the 200 situp chalange, I did 10, I would have done more but I decided to go soak in the tub instead because my legs were hurting from the squats. I starting week 1 today (legs finaly stoped hurting.) I also went and bought a huge water bottle that holds my daily recomended amount of water. I find that is I concentrate on drinking at least one a day I don't need pop and I am not as hungry. I also bought some fat free yogurt and carrots (Trying to eat better but I have to do it in babie steps or my will won't hold out.).

Once I get a job in my filed i will start some other excersises, I don't have the time for more right now.

I do cardio on a stationary bike for 45 minutes a day, 7 days a week. I weight lift 2 of those days and my wife and I have been riding bikes together on the weekends (about 3-6 miles, casual). We also have a pool so I often do laps in it but not on a regular schedule. I've been doing this for a long time now, 6-8 months or more and it has became a part of my daily schedule. When something bizarre happens and I don't get the chance to exercise I feel, guilty, as though I am cheating myself out of good health.

My diet is fairly good. I do not overeat and keep my calories below or at 2,000 per day. I generally eat vegetable soup and fruit for lunch and a more filling meal at dinner. I do not drink soda or carbonated/sugar drinks. I do have a glass of milk on occasion and drink beer on the weekends. I feel great, have tons of energy, sleep little and enjoy the lifestyle.

@Zero
You'll get that if you are not use to it. Once your body starts getting use to do the squats, your body will get into a routine which it will of course hurt a bit but not as much.

As for your diet, I'm trying what your going to do. Buy a bit bottle of water that carries my recommend water intake per day and just drink that. If I want more, I can just fill it up a bit more. With a school bag full of text books, it's hard to fit such a bit water bottle in there haha. As for the food, I don't have much of a problem. I don't know how to calculate calories some maybe Jordan could give us a heads up ;)

Any apps that will do it Jordan? I love my iPhone haha, I have it with me 99.9% of the time. So I use it for a lot of things, if it could calculate my calories it would be good :)

@Jordan
I know what you mean with cheating yourself too, I hate not following my daily routine. It makes me feel out of place and I regret not being able to do it.
