I'm trying to make a program that organizes things that would work like iTunes or something. It's a program for someone I know that will let him keep track of marbles he buys by the maker, type, and cost and many more options. When he came to me with the idea, I immediately thought of iTunes with marbles. Basically, he wants to input a picture for the marble, fill out boxes for the information on it, and keep an inventory or so of them. I don't know what this type of program would be called and need help finding a basic program similar to this that I can learn from and create my own. Can anyone help me, or lead me in the right direction?

There are dozens of inventory style programs out there. Most of them use a database to store the information. You will need an exact list of the info to be stored before you can get far with this, though.
Also... who keeps track of this kind of info about MARBLES? It sounds more like homework.

Thanks, I'll keep researching.
He's an avid marble collector, I guess lol.
