Hey y'all, so I know this is a really tough time economically which is probably why I'm having so much trouble finding work. So questions is, do y'all have any advice or leads for work/jobs in Houston, Texas?

Nope, not in that area. Have you checked out and submitted your resume to those types of sites (Monster, Dice, etc)? Also, the local classified ads in your paper?

Are you able to relocate? If you can, then I'd broaden the search.

What about driving further distance to get to work? What type of jobs are you after?

I'm after anything. I'd like to cook but don't really have the in house experience yet. And the vehicles available are my parents still so I can't drive to far...

Good luck. Nothing is hiring anywhere. You might end up at a McDonalds.

Do you have a temporary service agency near you? They could probably find you a peon job such as data entry. You are still in an office on a computer so it isn't a bad job.
