Hey y'all, so I know this is a really tough time economically which is probably why I'm having so much trouble finding work. So questions is, do y'all have any advice or leads for work/jobs in Houston, Texas?

Nope, not in that area. Have you checked out and submitted your resume to those types of sites (Monster, Dice, etc)? Also, the local classified ads in your paper?

Naw I can't move... I'm going to be going to school in January.

I'm after anything. I'd like to cook but don't really have the in house experience yet. And the vehicles available are my parents still so I can't drive to far...

That's what I'm afraid of... I want to actually work for me money... If y'all know of anyone who is hiring construction, either physical or digital, cooking... anything... I'll file papers... Please send them my way.

Do you have a temporary service agency near you? They could probably find you a peon job such as data entry. You are still in an office on a computer so it isn't a bad job.
