Korea has been building and testing Nukes which is against international law. They have threatened to attack U.S and South Korea war ships. I have heard that they have threatened to attack the U.S directly with the nukes (cannot confirm, google has failed me, if anyone has a link to a news page that confirms this please post a link). America is fighting major wars on two fronts now and our economy is in a down spiral. If anyone has a chance of defeating us it is now. Korea has tested long range missiles and by launching from ships they could reach the United States. Although we cannot afford to fight on another front I think it would cost us much more than money to stand Idle. I believe the time is right for a preemptive strike against N.Korea. We need to bomb there nuclear and military facilities. We should not attack cities at random as many civilian lives as possible should be spared.

What are your thoughts on the matter?

Moved to the correct forum, since it has nothing to do with programming.

There is always something or some rumor about some country pointing nukes at the US. Just a few months ago I heard talk about China invading the US. Is any of it really true? Does the real intelligence actually get leaked to the public? I doubt it. It may be true but it is probably just another rumor.

(sorry i thought i made this in the lounge, just woke up when i made it)

Thats true, but i thought i heard somthing on the radio about Obama adressing the matter? I am not positive as i was half asleep when i hear it, but presuming that he did I tend to trust what the president says on matters of our nations security

I don't think Obama has the guts. I also think Kim Jong Il is just saber rattling to see how far he can push Obama before he actually gets a spine.
