a) Explain how a batch program can be written in VB6.

b) There are other “batch” languages such as Java, C and Pascal which could do this job without the complications of a Visual environment. Explain why you would still use VB.

What do you mean by a "batch program"? A command-line program?

VB6 is quite old. Also, I have NEVER known a professional programmer who considered VB6 useful for anything more than rapid prototyping. An exact quote would be something like, "I would use VB6 to create a proof-of-concept, then create the actual project in a more stable language like C++." Even on this forum, everyone who actually uses VB (I don't bother with it) uses VB.NET.
