Hi,

I’m new in this forum and this is my first post.

While surfing I came across a discussion where some say Facebook is not profitable yet. How this can happen? According to them it sells stock to cover expenses. What do you think? Any idea?

Stock is not profit. Stock is selling a piece of the company for a right to any profits that may occur. You have to look at expenses vs revenues to find out if a company is profitable.

Moved to the correct forum. Please do not post general questions inside the Community Projects section. That section is for member projects only.

I'm not sure about actual numbers there. I just know he is so far the youngest self-made millionaire in the US.
