I used the add printer wizard on my new system. Install went fine but I cannot print anything.. . Does anyone have a clue?

Is your printer on? Is it jammed? Do you get any errors when you try to print? Does your computer say it printed successfully? What type of printer and how is it hooked up?

The printer is on and the light is blinking, my computer does not say anything.. it just shows that it is feeding the printer. I have an HP

When dealing with Linux, knowing the exact model of your printer is necessary. Some HP printers work very well with Linux, others don't.

How did you add your printer to your Linux distro? How is it connected?

That is very bad.When dealing with Linux, knowing the exact model of your printer is necessary. Some HP printers work very well with Linux, others don't.
Using the wizard, as said previously.. connected via USBHow did you add your printer to your Linux distro? How is it connected?

Now that is funny, OpenPrinting is sponsored by HP.. but their own printers don't work with linux.. now that is ironc

Some of them do, some don't. They're better than Lexmark, which basically told me to screw off when I asked about drivers.

Never was a Lexmark fan, their software sucks even for Windows!

check out the driver was installed or reinstall the printer device and then again print that.

Hello,
Might be your printer has jammed, or a problem in configuration setting.
