Any Linux users out there a fan of Chess? I'm interested in finding a good online chess game that will run in Linux. It would be nice if it also had a good AI for single player mode so that I could practice :p. What do you guys use? I'm not interested in chess games that you play through your browser such as Yahoo Chess.

Does anyone remember the old Chess game for the Commodore 64? It was a cool game. Seems like a million years ago though!

I recently tried to play online chess. I gave it a shot with three games in a row and even on a basic level the computer was able to crush me.
