Is Ubuntu supposed to detect SDcards? Because I'm inserting one into my laptop.. but can't seem to find it anywhere, I can't mount it or whatever... it's like it's not being detected.
Any help?
Thanks

Is your hardware being detected in general? I know some versions of Linux can detect SD cards.

I have a laptop with an internal SD card reader that is running linux (EEE PC) and don't have a problem. Having everything configured by ASUS to work right helps, though :)

Yeah, but because it was created by ASUS itself, so for sure it will make it own hardware compatible...

SD cards are used with Linux and Ubuntu. I don't know why you are having this problem.

Yeah, but as PassionLinux said, it seems like it only supports USB ones.
