1. download iso file from puppylinux.org (pick 4.12 (current release))
2. Burn using an image burner to a cd
3. reboot computer and boot from Cd (im using dell and as soon as mine reboots i het F12 then it IDE cd rom and boot)
4. follow on screen directions
5. once running go to menu>setup>puppy universal installer
6. follow onscreen prompts
7. reboot computer and choose to boot from USB
8. you got linux on usb

this is for puppy linux only and the in parenthesis on 3 are only for dell (vs i got anyway) refer to manual for booting if needed or search online with your computer type and etc.

(this is all from what ive read and somewhat learned)

plz if you have any suggestions to add plz let me know
