Has Anyone heard of it or its counterpart LinSpire, Does anyone know if it is any good? Should I waste my aggravation on trying to install it? I've tried to make the CD work but it always gives me errors even before it boots up.

I tried LinSpire a while back and I have to say that it has nothing impressive at all. To me it seemed like they took a free Linux flavor (not sure which), changed the KDE start bar and stuck a price tag on it. I recommend Ubuntu, Sabayon, openSuSe or just about any flavor over Linspire.

I have Sabayon on my laptop. I tried FreeSpire on my PC, 1.5 and 2.0.. the 1.5 really sucked, the 2.0 was a little better..

I liked them at first, but it's not much of an OS.. Too plain...IMO

Well, I don't know.. it's just that the OS didn't look so attractive after a while.. plus it is quite buggy, especially the 1.5 version.
