I still enjoy playing SNES and N64 games and was wondering what (if any) emulators for Linux you know that will play these games?

As a side note, did you know that Nintendo made it legal to put all NES/SNES games on the internet and use them in emulators? I thought that was pretty cool of them.

I think you can run the emulators using wine.

Well legal or not, people did it all the time, so I guess that it was better for them to make it legal, that would make them look cool, and they didn't loose anything, because people still used to do it all the time... so, that meant a +rep for them.

Is an emulator game the same as a simulator game? What are some popular emulator games that people seem to enjoy

An emulator is a program used to run games written for another system. For example: Nesticle is a program that simulates the NES hardware so you can run NES games on a computer.
