Has anyone tried Mandriva?

Mandriva is one of the major Linux distributions, and has been around for a long time, so therefore I'm pretty sure it a nice distribution. I've never used it myself though.

I tried it back when it was Mandrake. I haven't tried it since. I wonder why they changed their name. Anyone know?
