If you are a Windows user, you probably are aware that you can customize Windows by installing themes and skins for it.
I was wondering if you can do the same for Linux; are there free themes and skins available? Are there any that are almost identical to Microsoft Windows interface? :confused: :)

I know there are things you can do to customize your looks in KDE but I'm not sure about gnome. Check the KDE Control panel.

You can use the Emerald Theme Manager to change the way applications look. I believe this is a feature of Compiz Fusion though.
