Is there a way I can light the Num Lock during startup like windows does? Because every time I start up Ubuntu I have to click that by myself.

Thanks.

There should be an option in your BIOS for this. If not and you are using KDE goto:

Control Panel -> Peripherals -> Keyboards

Select "Turn on" for NumLock on KDE Startup.

For Gnome use/install "numlockx".

Thanks I will try this when I'm on my desktop.

But I don't think it's from the BIOS because it does turn on when I boot XP (because it's dual boot) but it does not for ubuntu.

Why does XP has it by default? I never found an option to turn it on/off at startup.

Because linux seems to have one as Pan said.
