I'm trying to enable the "Extra" appearance features in Ubuntu. I go to preferences, Visual Effects tab and then click Extra. A box pops up telling me I need to enable the Nvidia driver so I click Ok. I then get an error:

Quote

The software source for the package

nvidia-glx

is not enabled.

Why not and how can I fix this????

When you type this command

sudo nvidia-glx-config enable

What response do you get?
