What was your first time playing with Unix? What did you do, did someone help you or was it all self taught, and what was either the year or your age (in case you don't want to give out your age). :)

The first time I played with an actual Unix machine was here at work on HP-UX. I already had considerable knowledge in Linux though so it wasn't too hard. I was 21.

Linux is really hard at first. I didn't even know about how to install it. I was 23 back then so i fiddled around a bit and what do you know, i have a great free OS.
