Just installed Solaris as a test in a vmware session. Man, it is pretty cool! Its neat and if any geeks are out there give it a try! :)

From just using Linux to Solaris are you able to use it fine?

Yes, the commands and everything are almost identical. Very easy to get accustomed to.
