WMVs?

I can play almost every other movie type with all of the codecs but I cannot play wmvs! How do I enable these in Linux?

Also, when I do play movies they load in my browser instead of an external player and there is not start/stop/pause buttons. How do I fix this? Using FireFox.

You need to install the w32codecs.

I installed the codecs and it doesn't work. Does VLC work right out of the box with .wmv?
