Okay, I know this might sound out of place, however I need everyone that visits "The Lounge". To give their knowledge about these two things !

I am currently looking for a new laptop replacement, however it seems that I have abit of a conflict !
Which one of these will provide me with best user end experience ?

Radeon HD 4530 or Geforce 9200m GS ?

Thanks for your help guys, I love you :>

What are you planning to use it for? For a lot of things, you won't see a difference.

Nvidia.

1) Because I am biased towards nvidia
2) Because benchmarks show it kills the ATI radeon: Notebookcheck: NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS Notebookcheck: AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530

You may want to review quality of drivers for Linux. There are differences, but I don't recall which has better driver support for Linux.

From personal experience, Nvidia has better drivers for Linux. This is what turned me off from ATI in the first place.

EDIT: It was during this time period, when this was created: ATI Petition for Adequate Drivers in Linux Petition

I found that source quite not reliable, 8 unified shaders vs 80?
Also, how is it with actual game play? I hope someone with either one of these or both could help me out to make the wise decision !
