Hey there..

I was just watching a video of Google's new thingy that's called "Google Wave".
Go and see this video.. and tell me what do you think about this thing.

YouTube - Google Wave Developer Preview at Google I/O 2009

My review:

Well.. What can I say.. It's AWESOME ****.. really I can't believe you can do those things in browser.. those guys are crazy in Google. I really like this drag-n-drop thing.. it's really cool and those little message boxes inside of the content.. Those apis and extensions were very nice also..
Everything is cool and sh.. but I think I won't use it :D because I don't have a reason to use it.. I don't do things like it's made to do.. I chat with my friends but for chatting I have MSN and this google messenger.. for emails I have Gmail.

So what do you think about and will you use it when it comes out ?

Ok, so what google is trying to do is create a Google "Facebook" with a forum attached?

The only main feature i like is the Reply status, where you can separate a message and reply to that section, w/o having to copy/paste/edit.

Wait, is there an addon for that? :D

Just seems like advanced email? Why would I start using it when everybody uses Facebook? I suppose if they do migrate over - maybe they will use that for google profiles?

I saw this the other day but fell asleep after watching that hour long video lol

I've watched the presentation, and it's nothing like email or facebook. but it could be both at once. I think this will change the way we communicate with each other via the Internet big time. You won't need MSN messenger to chat, and your gmail is included in the inbox as I understand, so the difference is that your emails becomes alive and multiuser friendly, with the ability to keep everything to ONE place...

with all the addon possibilities, I think this is a revolution for the net, maybe what it really needs.

Odd... I can do all that stuff through facebook. Has a buit in messenger with online and offline contacts. But who wouldn't want a piece of what a 24yr old billionare has been able to put together.

I don't think I ment to say it doesn't have its possibilities.

I think they are just trying to prove they can either buy out any website making money (youtube, analytics,...) or recreate it and make it top.

Taking over the web? They will eventually change the name "web" to "google" kids years from now will say "I cant wait to go home and get on google!"

They will even buy this site out soon enough... soon very soon young ones...
