I'm willing to be a judge or to compete. I think MathXpert said he'd be willing to judge. Any others?

I am happy to judge, so sure. ;)
What's the next challenge going to be? Or do the judges decide it?

What do you need to know to be a judge?

I'm judging, but I guess that is a given. If you want to compete and *possibly* win a prize, you shouldn't be a judge.
To be a judge you should know programming (duh) and generally know how to compile/execute multiple languages. You should be able to recognize good development and bad development practices. You should have spare time and be willing to use that time to look at each code. This could take considerable time if there are many submissions. You should be able to debate with good reasoning why you believe a particular algorithm is better. You should be willing to check for updates on the judging communication system (yet to be determined) and respond with opinions.

I'm not sure If I know enough languages...

I think I can do that

I have a lot of spare time at the moment.

That shouldn't be a problem for me.

Everything for the community.
So Maybe I can be a Judge. I'm not "signing up" now but perhaps later.

It's just this I'm unsure with. I just know a few languages but If I read a code from a language I don't know I can usually understand what it does. I'm not sure If I can understand them enough to judge them.

The trick isn't whether you "know" several languages, but whether you can "read" several languages. I don't know python, for example, but had no trouble reading PythonPower's submission. Heck, I don't know VB, but a quick google search often lets me fix people's problems.

Then I Think I "know" multiple languages good enough. I join!!!!

Well I just said that, but I didn't really mean that. I don't feel ready to do that. I don't think I know enough.
