Ive done alot of things in my time on the net but programming is not one of my strong points lol
Anyway i typed into google ''programming forums '' and them see this site so here i am :)

Err No sorry im a noob really lol
Ive come to the stage where im thinking i want to start learning it now and now i want to start projects and develop some programs :)
My brother is a RAD programmer and is doing very well making programs , so i want to do it aswell see if it runs in the blood lol

Hay thanks Jordan :)

Well i have this dream of making a really great Chat site with chatrooms/voice and cam sort of like yahoo chat.
Id love to be able to make that but this involves programming like Java i think ?
Im really on my own in all this coz i dont know any programmers that have the time to help me so i thought id join a site to start learning on my own :)
My brother wont help me lol i asked him lol
but anyway id love to learn things like VB , .net , java and what ever els i might need to learn to follow making my chat server :)

you will need to learn either java JSP , .NET ASP(c#/VB), or you can learn PHP for your project
i recommend PHP but its up to you to choose your own path :)

Many thanks there amrosama LOL yeah my nickname has been with me now for 7 years lol
Its an old known name on the net but doesn't mean anything lol
Thanks for your advise and any help or advise from cool programmers is priceless to me so a greatful thanks my friend .
I lay in bed at night thinking of all these cool things to do with my project or even other software id like to make , im a great inventer but cant make it yet lol
amrosama i see that php is becoming more used now like alot of the chat sites embed a chat client into there site witch i guess is php so thats a must to learn i think to and java ..
yesterday i was reading up on how servers and chat servers work to get a good idea on things .
Its a big thing for me to do but i got loads of time and its a good way to learn and it should be alot of fun lol
