Im a Web Developer for a flooring company in leeds UK,
I have worked in Delphi, VB6, php, c, c++, javascript and learning c# now

i have been working for 13 months commercially, and about 5 years freelance,

I have a large amount of know age and always drive to learn more and advanced ways of programming

Welcome aboard! How would you compare Delphi to VB?

Delphi to VB different operations but similar

VB is just as wordy as Delphi dim, procedure, function, but i would say delphi is more powerful then VB6 don't know about VB.Net i don't want to learn it i got C++ and c# for .net Delphi provides you with are far better control of all you methods, functions and Elements but then with .Net in VB now and i don't know that i can say to much as .net might have provided the power to VB as working with c# every thing seems to be .net but that's Microsoft "we own it you use it end of",

I started with Delphi 7 and from there i have moved to delphi 2007 not gone higher yet been building up my php because that's my job lol, and now c# for Work wonted a Secure CRM and i could not think of any thing better for a company that only uses windows

Worked on a few big projects im sure some of you have heard of,

Mangos Core - a MMORPG core built to WoW, C++
Trinity Core - a branch of Mangos Core, C++
Yawe Core - a MMORPG core built to WoW(Dead), Delphi
Yawe Control - my own GUI for the config of the Yawe Core - i hate text based config files that dont have a GUI builder
