Hello everyone,
my name is John Tailor and I am 18 years old. I am at the moment doing my "entrance qualification for studying at a university of applied sciences" or how we simply call it "fachhochschulreife" I'm from Germany and like to listen to bands like Silverchair, disturbed, soad and the like. I have been doing some c# before i went to my current school, where we are now learning a bit java. I'm still pretty far from what i feel is experienced in programming but I'm trying. I have only two main hobby's one is programming which i assume is only my secondary hobby. My second hobby is ripping certain dvd's and changing their content and then uploading the changed content to a site which host such things for free.. its still in a gray legal zone and more illegal than legal i guess.. the end product is just called amv which is short for animemusicvideo. Theres a huge community for this kind of video editing and its so awesome. The only reason why i ever wanted to do programming is because i had this vision, when i was 14, about an awesome 2D rpg game which I'm still trying to do.. i probably need a lot more knowledge to do such a game... i came here only because of the nice design of this board, i visited a lot other boards but none impressed me as much as this one. Hopefully i as a beginner can learn a lot from people who are sharing their programming knowledge.
