so what is the diffrence between a programmer, a software engineer, and a system analysyst? I am thinking of going for a masters in software engineering in a year or two (got a two week break between ending high school and going to university I need a bit of a break, and get in a job that I like so that is why I am going to wait one or two years). The only problem is I have no clue what the diffrence is. If some one could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

a software engineer is a programmer ... but not the other way around
a programmer can be a web programmer also ... depends which platform
software engineering differs, either being junior programmer, senior or project manager

system analysis mean to analyze a certain program or if in a team .. u need to study the case and the needed points for the software intended to develop or doing crystal reports
