How to uninstall XAMPP in Windows XP

Hello,
I have downloaded XAMPP 1.7.1 ,and installaed also, but when installing it showed Port 80 and another port No.(Cant rememeber) in use can;t install APache ,so I tried to uninstall XAMPP full .but than it showed C:/XAMPP folder cant be deleted ,this folder contains mMysql>Bin,Data files,So how should I delete it, and can you tell me as I am using IIS than howto use APache and release port 80 etc.
And also now when I start my PC ,after sometime in the taskbar Windows Security center shows Windows firewall is OFF (but it is set ON) and when clicked Widows firerwall it says :-Due to an Unidentified problem.Windows cannot display Windows Firewall Settings.And then after sometime it agains ONs.This Firewall Problem appeared after unintalling XAMPP, How to Fix

You'll have to stop the associated services, at the very least.

Very often, Skype take port 80 and 443 in use, so if you have skype, you need to deactivate that in your skype settings (Advanced -> Connection)

Thanks friends,
By the way winged Panther how to stop the associated services, at the very least.
I cant understand please help, And I removed thi Problem of Firewal by Rrestoring my PC to earlier time in Windows, I dont have Skype installed, I think IIS is using the Port

beside what panther said, also go to your xampp folder, click on xampp_stop.exe to just play safe. sometime the service panel doesn't close all the app but the stop.exe will make sure it will.

then you should check xampp-portcheck.exe and see if anything is left
close down your xampp control panel
ctrl+al+delete to check the third time, see any associated exe is still running, such as mysql, xampp, and ect.

now run uninstall.exe

Thanks every body, When i first installed the XAMP through Installer that time I went to Administrative tools and double clicked Internet Information services, Would That may have created Problems, how to stop that service after going their(control panel>Adminstrative tools), Btw I only restoed my windows Pc with System Restore as I dont know this things earlier, I am thinking for again installing XAMPP for Web Programming
purpose So guide me through it Please ,

You want to disable the Internet Information Service (IIS)?
it's quite simple
go back to the IIS control panel
expand the list and click on something like the "default web site"
then press "stop" ■
another way is just simply, remove the entire IIS application from windows
